The network
An EVM chain built to sit above Robinhood Chain, from the stack it runs on to how a transaction travels through it.
| Execution | Arbitrum Orbit with Nitro: EVM-equivalent execution, compressed batches and a sequencer. |
|---|---|
| Parent | Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663. |
| Settlement | Ethereum, through Robinhood Chain. |
| Block time | 3 seconds, chain ID 466301. |
| Gas token | ETH. The token for the Orbit chain is published before it ships. |
| Status | Live: public RPC, faucet and status page. Settlement to Robinhood Chain is the next stage; see the roadmap. |
What a transaction does
The path a transaction takes through the stack.
1. Execute
A sequencer orders transactions and returns a fast soft confirmation. Contracts run with standard EVM semantics.
2. Post
Batches and state commitments are posted to Robinhood Chain, which makes the data available and challengeable.
3. Settle
Robinhood Chain anchors to Ethereum, so the layers inherit the same security path.
Built on standards
Contracts are standard EVM, so Solidity, Foundry, Hardhat, viem and any EVM wallet work as they do elsewhere.
Assets from Robinhood Chain arrive through a canonical bridge representation. A token is never treated as the same asset because the name or ticker matches.
RHL3 is not affiliated with Robinhood. Robinhood Chain is named because it is the parent chain.
